Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. The room was beautiful and clean, but lacked wardrobe space allowing for only a few things to be hung which was not good for our length of stay and very different to all our Japan hotel stays. While they had complimentary drinks at happy hour in the bar this was incredibly limited and didn’t have any beer. In the mini bar which was free for us, they had beer but no wine.
