Good place to stay for a short visit. This was my second stay at Sun Island and i would love to be back soon. Thanks for the service ; specially Deva at reception is awesome guy. Cheers
The most fantastic stay in Kuta. A great location to two shopping malls walking distance. Restaurants and the beach not far away from the hotel. The room was huge and the balcony was a great bonus. Pool was large and easy access from the room. The staff talked everyday to me with big friendly smiles. The buffet breakfast was delicious, fruits, bacon, omelette, fresh bread etc. Will definitely be staying again next year. Thank you.

Lovely staff. Basic rooms, get location if you want to be close to Waterbom
There was leak in our bathroom annd the wifi kept disconnecting. But the managers were polite and took care of it for us. However the area was really loud and party buses and people parting around which ultimately leave the hotel.
Friendly people, but had some issue with management communication to staff. I had booked airport pick up and was confirmed my management, but staff were not told and no one turned to pick me up from the airport.
Hotel is big in a great location, but could do with some maintenance. Lighting in room is very dark and air conditioner need a clean, they were very mouldy and smelly.
For the price and location it was a reasonable stay.

We only stayed 1 night, so didn't really get a chance to use the facilities, the hotel is good value for the price, the rooms were nicely decorated, spacious and clean, with a large comfy bed and good aircon. The reception staff were very friendly and check in and out was a breeze. The other big plus is that the hotel offers free water stations on every level. Sadly the facilities, especially the pool are looking rather dated. The biggest negative for us was the buffet breakfast, we have stayed here before and remember a very good selection and great quality, unfortunately that wasn't the case this time, there were plenty of options, mainly Asian orientated, no egg station and the quality of the food was very poor, tables werent being cleared or cleaned and food kept running out on the buffet. No one checked our room number, so anyone could just walk in off the street and help themselves, the restaurant staff were disinterested as if they didn't really want to be there, no friendly smiles or warm greeting.
Prime location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants which made everything so easy. The pool view rooms were lovely and comfortable. Just note that depending on the room, you may need to use both the elevator and stairs to access it.
Breakfast was good with decent variety.
The reception staff were absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. A few of them went above and beyond assisting our family during airline and bank transfer emergencies. We are so grateful for their support during a stressful time.
Highly recommend staying here!

The property is good value for your money and only 8 mins from the airport!
Hi I do not normally wright reviews, but feel I need to for this hotel, the hotel is not 4 stars, maybe 25 years ago it may have been.
The rooms are very dated as is the rest of the property.
Lots of old dark brown furniture, very well worn.
I was booked into this hotel for 7 nights I left after 2 nights.
I travel to Bali monthly and try to book different hotels to spread my business around.
Breakfast was poor, you could order from a menu and there was a very limited choose in 2 sort of ice wells which have a few ice blocks in then, I normally only have toast and fruit for breakfast, unfortunately the toaster did not toast and I ended up with warm dried out bread.
Many of the rooms were shutdown and items had been removed from these rooms to keep other rooms operational.
My rooms TV crackled and shutdown occasionally the controller for the air-conditioning was a black screen so unable to set, the room AC seemed to struggle to keep the temperature down.
The towels in the bathroom were grey and very thin.
Room cleaners tried hard to maintain some sort of cleaning.
It appears as if the owners of this hotel have worked the property hard and stripped every cent out of the property and no money has been spent.
In the breakfast room there is a bar and I ordered a coffee and noticed the wall behind the bar was covered in a black mould.
I did not purchase any food or drink from this hotel so I can not comment on these.
