"The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean. The bed was nice. There was a large refrigerator and desk as well. What surprised me was the lack of power outlets/USB near the desk or bed - I had to disconnect the lamp to charge my electronics. The bathroom was nice, but it was not maintained well. It should be renovated: there were tons of limescale and the faucets were hard to operate. Moreover, the towels were terrible - the high synthetic content rendered them non-absorbent, so...

"I had an excellent week staying at Malik Toyo in Uluwatu. Danny and his staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting surfers with the steps to the Uluwatu cave only a 3 minute walk and Padang Padang only a 5 minute scooter ride. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the local cliff tops. So many quality restaurants and bars just a short walk in either direction. "This place was a DUMP! The room was filthy. Conditions were so poor that I checked in at 2:30pm and checked out before 7pm. The walls had what looked to be mold growing on them, there were stains on the sheets, thick soap scum on the shower glass and bathroom faucet was loose. I would not advise anyone to stay there."

"No hair dryer in room, bugs in my bed on the floor pretty much everywhere, bathroom was incredibly dated and generally felt unclean the only positive is that the aircon was excellent that’s it."
