The hotel offers free shuttle service to golden pavilion and bamboo forest, two popular tourist spots. The driver is very helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great, good price and delicious variety of food. They have high chair available at the dining area. "

"This was hotel 2 of 4 hotels during our stay and was hands down our favourite. The location is really fantastic - walking distance to the restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and spacious for Japan. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. We loved Kyoto all in all and this hotel definitely contributed to that experience. We would 100% stay here again. The lobby has a beautiful sitting area where you can relax with a coffee and watch all the activity out on the street. "

"Excellent location within shopping mall, with adjacent door into 7 eleven store. 6 minutes walk to nearest train station. Staff excellent with very good English. "

"We were 3 friends traveling and the room was huge we each had our own bed and lots of room for all our bags. We had come from Tokyo where there was not even room to turn around. The staff was helpful and a castle with beautiful gardens was across the street. I would highly recommend Noku Kyoto "
