We had an incredible time at the Prince Smart Inn Kyoto Sanjo. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was peaceful and perfectly located for walking and cycling. It's close to the city but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. Amazing, authentic restaurants are within walking distance, and the night market is around the corner. It's the perfect hotel to stay in while in Kyoto.

Everything was perfect!! The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower awesome!!! At checkout we were able to lock our luggage in a locker, when for a small visit to the shrine and came back to pick up our luggage and go to the station. Staff is super friendly and the hotel have a great location. Highly recommended!

Everything was great. Check in was on a machine which was easy and so was check out. Staff was helpful. Only issues we have was there was no change machine for the coin laundry so we had to go buy things at the 7-11 to get 100 yen coins for it. Not a big issue but it would be nice if there installed a change machine.

Very clean and spacious! Loved the shower - amazing water pressure and had lots of settings. Location was great - walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The only negative was the washing/drying machine. The dryer did not work well as our clothes were still damp after 2 drying cycles. Since there were only a few machines with other people waiting, we couldn’t continue drying our clothes and had to bring them to a nearby laundromat. Other than that, we had a great stay here!

Great location—you can easily walk to nearby shopping areas, and if you get tired, it’s convenient to go back to the hotel for a rest. The hotel is super clean and quiet, and the bed is very comfortable. The room is cleaned only once every three days, which is a little less frequent than expected. There seemed to be a shortage of staff when I needed help carrying my luggage to the room, so I had to make two trips to bring all my belongings upstairs.

This property was right in the middle of amazing shopping, food, and sites for our visit to Kyoto. We liked the larger clean and well appointed room and thought that the beds were really comfortable. Thank you for a great visit to Kyoto.
