"A lovely and very affordable stay in a nice quiet room! Every inch of the room was pristinely clean and tidy. The reception staff member was very helpful, professional and efficient. The only improvements would be as follows: - A fridge in the room would have been a helpful amenity - The pillows were extremely chunky so maybe an option of a flatter size? - The bins in the car park were overflowing with rubbish - The curtains need to be longer as they let in light all the way along the bottom Whilst these things would be great improvements, it was a great stay and the pricing/cleanliness is unmatched, thank you."

"Whilst the lobby, dining area looks lovely other areas of the hotel are dated. Especially the family room we stayed in. Old fixtures and fittings, beds that moved when you moved. It needed a total update. Toilet didn't flush properly, extractor fan didn't turn off - hummed all night. Bath panel broken and of the two windows that opened one didn't have a safety catch. I don't like to leave as such reviews but the price we paid doesn't justify the room On the plus side the breakfast set up was brilliant."

"Nice location. Everything fine. Nice to have 2 chairs in a double room, often other places only provide 1. I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice."

"Arrived to food in the fridge, scraps in the sink and a dirty bathroom. No hand towels or soap, and the beds looked slept in. There was a phone charger plugged in at the sofa. Looks like someone is living there. The landlord refunded in full, seems their cleaner may have misled them so not necessarily their fault but wouldn't stay again"

"Property on main road but still a very quiet location. Staff very welcoming and rooms clean. Well maintained and adequate size. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and was the usual uk buffet style. Staff were overworked and we had to wait for a table to be be cleaned as it was busy but this was quick. Overall very good value for a nice hotel and would stay again if in the area."

"We were greeted on arrival the hotel was really busy they had live music on and the place was full but the owner gave us a quick tour and assisted us with our luggage to our rooms the rooms were lovely clean and inviting everything we needed was provided shampoo bodywash nice soft towels hairdryer they brought us fresh milk in a small flask so we coukd make tea or coffee beds were comfortable in the morning we came downstairs to a wonderful continental breakfast with lots of fresh fruit fresh croissants and toast again excellent service "
