Upon arrival we were told about a community festival with good local food, arts & crafts and wonderful Hawaiian music with traditional hula dancers. We were disappointed about the restaurant being closed but found lots of local options and took advantage of the well stocked kitchenette in our room for breakfasts."

"It was a strange set up but it worked great for us. We didn’t see staff for more than a few minutes the entire week stay. No frills, for sure, but that helps keep the price down. Location is fantastic. Very close to the beach and we even had a little bit of a view! Parking lot gets full but we always managed to get parking. My kids loved the pool. Kitchen was well stocked. "Best kept secret for Kaanapali beach resorts! Everything accessible with no elevators, crowds, or chaos. Free wi-fi, parking and best stretch of beach ever. Pool never crowded, plenty of chairs and unlimited towels at front desk. Free coffee 7am-11am. Stayed in Coconut Building and room had double queen beds and full stainless kitchen. The only way you could see the ocean was if you were to go on the balcony and walk to the far right corner and almost lean over the railing. I was able to contact the front desk and share my disappointment, and they were helpful in letting me look at two other room that actually had a partial ocean view.
