"This place was a decent stay. Central and clean. It’s a little tired and in need of an update. The elevator was broken down for the entire visit and the cleaners came banging on our door 10 minutes before checkout time only to deliver an ultimatum that we needed to be out in five minutes. That really pissed me off."

"Excellent location just steps from the royal mile and across the street from Makars Mash Bar as well as a short walk to Princess Street. The staff was exceptional and professional. Our room was beautiful! We had a corner room with views on both sides. The bed was so comfortable, the towels were luxurious and our stay was wonderful."

"It was a clean place and unique in style. However, it was very loud at night so we did not sleep well. The breakfast also did not seem so fresh. We ended up leaving to purchase breakfast elsewhere."

"Easy quick check in. Room was perfect 1 bedroom with fold out sofa for our son. Nice local recommendations at front desk. They were also kind to hold our luggage for half the day until our train left!"

"The staff were friendly. The location is central, close to the Waverley train station and walking distance to so many things.
The kitchen was well equipped.
The laundry was convenient, although the machines are a little touchy and take forever to do a load.
The apartment was nice and clean. The bed was a little hard however that is a personal preference. Our room had a nice interior view of the gardens and was quiet.
Overall a great home base while in Edinburgh."
