Disappointed in the room at the price point! No coffee available in the rooms - had to walk a distance early in the morning for Starbucks or Krispy Cream, no bottled water in the room, no place to hang towels for the shower, no clock in the room, no charging ports in the room - glad I bring my own. The beds were decent but pillows poor quality, no extra blankets, & bring your own hair conditioner. These things are by themselves minor but for the expense, shouldn’t the guest get a bit of hospitality? Would not recommend unless all you do is stay up at night & sleep little!

The first room we received had blood splatter all over the curtains, air conditioner and the bathroom floor. Absolutely disgusting and just shows how they truly don't put much effort into the cleanliness of the rooms. There was no mini fridge, microwave nor coffee pot. The bed board had lights removed on the upper corners in which the electrical chords were still showing. All in all quite disappointed for a first time experience.

Clean & Comfortable beds. That's where compliments end. Check in process was a small nightmare but better than the parking (at times triple charged for it). The check-in kiosks have issues and only 2 people on floor to assist. Water was shut off in room without notification for at least a half hour. Grey sludge came out of faucets after water came back on. Front desk initial response was ' everyone knows you can't drink the water, it's on the state website'. Had to press her to send maintenance up to witness the grey goo coming out of faucets which she suggested was probably 'just chemicals' ??? (We were brushing teeth when water was shut off. Brushed with overpriced bottled water after). Lady quickly retracted statement about it was possibly chemicals coming out of the faucet when we asked what kind of chemicals then tried to tell us that we're putting words in her mouth. I would most definitely not stay at Excalibur again. In the casino if you need any kind of liquid to stay hydrated it's best to bring your own. I did notice two waitresses but rarely did I see them in the areas away from the tables. Cleaning staff does keep the areas around the machines nice and tidy. Resort fees are added when you check in and it may say that in small print when you make reservation Just about anything you eat at Excalibur will cost you $25 whether it's a burger or hot dog or Chinese food, etc. Long steep ramp to enter & exit Excalibur. There ARE a FEW nice employees, hope you get lucky!

The room was clean and there was no funky smell. We didn’t interact with the staff at all, we did self check in and out, even made or own key and we declined housekeeping. The shops were in a good area.

We did not end up staying at this hotel. The signage for parking was not lit, so it was hard to see where to go. There was NO hotel staff at the drop off place, cuz we kept getting out of the car to ask for directions, but there was no one to help. After driving around the complex 6 times, we gave up and drove across town to the Fremont Hotel where parking is clear (and free). Horrible signage! It was a joke trying to get in there.

Checking was easy but when I got my room was mortified to see a hair on the that wasn’t mine. One of the pictures had hole in it, the ceiling had what looked brown marks on it, one of the lights in the bathroom had some kind of yellow stuff caked on it, there’s a pee stain on the bathroom floor.

Centrally located on the strip, which makes it convenient for walking to other restaurants and casinos in the area. The Excalibur Hotel itself is ok. It's family friendly and fairly clean. The staff was helpful and restaurants are ok (nothing really fancy or out of the ordinary). We'd stay there again, just because of the location and fair prices.

Rooms were out dated, checking in was a nightmare and it wasn’t even that busy. So there was no excuse for lack of assistance for using the kiosks for check in, paying, and room key self printing. No one told us that there were multiple parking areas that we could use to be closer to the tower we were in. Had to find that out on our own. And NO REFRIGERATOR IN OUR ROOMS

Our stay was very nice. More vegan options at the restaurants would have been nice. We had to go outside of excaliber for vegan food. Bit otherwise it was sufficient for our needs.
