"I booked my stay on expedia.com well in advance. On the day of my travel, I hit construction traffic in Texas and Louisiana and knew that I would get in late. I called the property and informed the front desk of my late arrival, offered to go ahead and secure my room with a credit card for the night and was told by the staff it was not necessary. "This place is an absolute gem! The room is extremely spacious with a seating area a very good air conditioner and some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The hotel is small and extremely clean, very well-kept and well-lit. The staff are just wonderful. They work very hard to make sure your stay is a good one. The hotel is close enough to surrounding tourist areas to be convenient, but far enough (one exit over) to be quiet and accessible. There's a Waffle House and a Denny's...

"We checked in on Father's Day and I forgot the lady that worked the 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. shelf on Father's Day but she was so friendly. She went on her way to make sure everything was good with us. The room was very clean. We had a view of the beach. First time ever staying there. Will be staying there again soon"
