"Room was new so was nice , but was sold to me as air conditioning but was given a fan Which u couldn’t even fell the air coming from it , the room was boiling . No TV areal and couldn’t connect TV to pub wi fi , uses loads of my own Data . Noisy awful singing from the bar downstairs till 2 am , then fighting on the sea front at 4.30 am . Just all in all the worst night we have stayed away"

"Mark and Rich were amazing hosts. Excellent restaurant suggestions. Our room was in the basement at the back and it was cool and quiet. Very clean and the common area where breakfast was served and the area where you could sit and look out at the water was way bigger than we expected. Breakfast was extra and well worth it. Great berries and yogurt, cereal and fresh baked biscuits were a highlight. They even accommodated a relative for breakfast who wasn’t staying at the first house. Should...

"Bit disappointed really with the lady of the house.She seemed very helpful offered her services as a cab to pick our car up which was very nice of her so I took her up on that and she said put another £10 on the bill which I paid gladly. When she spoke to my wife a little later my wife offered her £20 pound for the journey and she gladly took it without mentioning that I had already paid but on her conscious be it won’t be going back strangely enough"

"Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. "This is a real gem. Lovely building, and one of the best views from the beer garden in England. Great mix of friendly locals and other travellers, a well staffed kitchen, bar and restaurant. Great for Goodwood Motor Circuit too."

"Yes the write up may say that the venue is open late and has music but our whole room was vibrating from the said musicians til gone 3am. Then the noise of people and staff leaving. I think we managed just a couple of hrs sleep before a LONG drive home. Yes they give you ear plugs but they don’t help at all."

"Beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed and most importantly the best pillows ever. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner but breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again if we visit the area in the future."
