"Excellent stay at 69TheGrove. The location in Vauxhall is unbeatable for access to public transport and local venues like Brixton. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful with an early arrival. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. "I should preface this review by saying I had the great good fortune to live in London in 1983. London has a very different, slightly down-at-the-heels look and smell for me that I LOVE. People give five ⭐️ reviews for different reasons. This is mine: the Parkwood has this wonderful feel for me. It is a very clean and exceptionally friendly place. The breakfast is lovely. The staff and owner Monty are friendly and flexible. I am not the kind of traveler who wants a sterile anonymous environment....
