We had a great stay at The Sumner. The breakfasts were good and convenient and the staff was very helpful, calling cabs when we needed them, carrying luggage, getting reservations for us for meals, etc. It's also in a convenient location in London.

This is a quaint residential hotel built into an old mouse in Mayfair. It is only marked by a brass plate near the door. The rooms are spacious even if the hallways are narrow. They have a lift and Air conditioning!!. Breakfast is in the basement and about average for a Continental breakfast. There is an English Breakfast option for an additional cost. Very homey and quiet. This is not a big hotel. Rather than a lobby, they offer a nicely furnished parlor with soft comfortable chairs. They also provide access to a computer and printer. There's a number of excellent restaurants nearby and it is near to Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall and a shopping street in Kensington. There is only street parking. It is a quiet place to stay not a business hotel. I would stay there again when I return to London. Recommended.

Excellent location for adventuring through London, very close to the Marble Arch, Hyde Park, etc. Breakfast Attendant was very friendly and helpful. She remembered what we liked every morning and brought it right over to us.
The most delicious toast from the cafe. The Server called it "Brown Toast", but it was more like Multigrain, so yummy with Tea.

We always choose to stay at the Sumner Hotel whenever we visit London because of its excellent location, which provides easy access to all the attractions and amenities of central London. The surrounding neighbourhood is vibrant and lively, with a fantastic selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants right on the doorstep. The staff are always friendly, professional, and helpful. The only area that could be improved is the accommodation itself. While the rooms are comfortable, they feel somewhat dated and would benefit from refurbishment and modernisation. Despite this, the hotel’s outstanding location and excellent service ensure that it remains our preferred choice whenever we stay in London.
