"We are so happy we decided to give the Coach House a try. Everything was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent - so much to choose from, excellent quality and beautifully displayed. I had pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. My husband asked for scrambled eggs on toast as it wasn’t on the menu and it was no problem for the very helpful staff. We will definitely return. "No air conditioning, staff wasn’t knowledgeable about local restaurants, 10 lb charge for early check in, another person that was staying there ate dinner at about 5:00 pm and he left his silverware and a mess on the table and no staff person cleaned it up till the following morning. I wouldn’t stay there again"

"When you stay at the Maids Hotel, the one thing that is fixed in your mind is “stairs” unless you can cope with stairs at every turn, this is not the hotel for you. This is because the hotel is a heritage building and it doesn’t lend itself to easy step free access. I had a single room on the 3rd floor to get to it from reception I had to go up a couple of steps and down a corridor to the lift up to 3rd floor, from there I had go up stairs, down stairs multiple times before reaching the...

"The location of The Cliff is a perfect base from which to go sightseeing around Norfolk. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We visited during a very hot spell of weather and our room had two fans, which were essential."

"I cannot leave more than 2 stars because there is no on-site coin laundry machine, and none in walking distance. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room.
