"My room was a 4th floor walk up. If I had known I’d be in a building without an elevator I would not have booked this hotel."

"It was a great location for the tube but the rooms need maintenance. The window blind was broken and permanently down, the soap dispensers were diluted so almost just water coming out and the shower temp and shower head holder were both broken."

The shower temperature control was faulty and kept getting stuck meaning we either had boiling hot water or freezing cold water. When we asked for help staff told us to use a towel to turn the knob but it was extremely difficult and we ended up having cold showers. "I really liked this hotel. It's what I would call a hidden gem, because I had no idea it was there. The building is clean, housekeeping is spot on, the staff are attentive, and able to offer advice on almost everything. The bar had a lovely atmosphere and the lounge had the largest TV on planet Earth. Breakfast was the best I'd had in any hotel. It's a 2 minute walk from the tube station, and close to all amenities.
