The location is amazing, that is about it. I love booking rentals in the heart of the cities I travel to but even though this had the location everything else was not good. First, the keys to your apartment are in another building 2 blocks away and three flights of stairs up, not a big deal unless you have luggage. After getting the keys, getting into the building was fine but the hallways with auto lights worked half of the time and at times it was very dark. The apartment was as the pictures show on the listing but several issues; the windows were filthy. The weird curtains were hard to open and close. The windows could only be open slightly due to the poor design of the curtain rod which blocked the window from fully opening. There were two fans but it was still hot, so had to leave the windows open as far as they would open. I knew based on other reviews there was a nightclub and it’s open all night, there is a lot of noise from the club. What I wasn’t anticipating was after the club closes at about 0630 the construction crews start working making even louder noise. The listing should have mentioned there are three construction projects, one across the street, one next to the apartment (new hotel) and on the bottom floor a new restaurant- all making noise early and all day. So there was no relief from the noise. When I reached out the property manager said I should shut the windows, the windows also don’t close all the way. Not a good stat and I don’t recommend.
