"The hotel description is misleading. There is NO onsite breakfast facilities. Breakfast is down the road, outside the hotel!! When we arrived, the only lift in the hotel was "out of service". This is definitely NOT a 4* hotel. It is more like a 1* hotel. This hotel does NOT come with the concierge, the facilities, decor, or top notch service that all 4* hotels offer. "Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!! All of the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt at home at this hotel. They were so hospitable and accommodating. I want to give a special shoutout to Rose who helped us with booking massage, dinner, transportation to the airport etc. she was lovely! The breakfast was wonderful as was the massage at the hotel spa. The room was clean and comfortable. The high price is the only downside but it’s worth it. "

"We felt very comfortable at the Peridot. This was one of our favorite accommodations with amazing staff, an amazing breakfast and our room was beautiful. The spa and jacuzzi was fantastic as well. We would definitely recommend the Peridot to anyone staying in the Old Quarter in Hanoi."

"The place was not what it looking in the pictures, the bathroom was so dirty that I had to shower at my friend hotel it mold everywhere and clearly the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned for a while. Customer service was nonexistent, if you out late good luck back in because they locked the door after a certain time and you have to wait for someone to come and open it and sometime that can take a while. "This was one of the best experiences and stays on my trip in Vietnam! Staff is soo accommodating and extremely kind. Hannah was exceptional, she helped my mom plan a trip to Nimh Bihn and even brought her tea when she was cold after she was out in the rain. All the other staff were so kind as well.
