"We loved our room here. We had a studio apartment on the first floor and it was just what we wanted. We were able to get some groceries nearby and make some meals in our room which is a big plus. The rooms were clean and spacious and the location is perfect. Right off the subway to get anywhere you need to go in DC. So many cool buildings and things to see while walking around the area. Definitely a lot of history. "

"I stayed at the AKA White House for just one night, and since it's an apartment hotel, my room was huge, as large or larger than my own condominium. It was beautifully furnished with a full kitchen, a powder room, washer/dryer, and closed off bedroom with full bath/shower. "Very nice boutique hotel. Great location. Reasonably priced. My room was spacious- actually like a studio apartment. The one criticism was the light that came through the bedroom window. They totally need blackout curtains. They didn’t have anything to block out the light coming from the busy street. It’s a super easy fix. They really need to make the room darker in order to have a good night sleep."

However, I would do it all over again, the price for parking here is much cheaper than anywhere else. There is quick and easy access to DC via the subway.
