Above and Beyond

Was above and beyond what i could've expected. The facilties were well kept and maintenanced, staff kind and helpful, rooms and spaces clean, hospitality through the roof with special "BBQ" social parties in the evening. The location was super short, direct, and safe shot to all of Hollywood.

Super friendly, hard-working, helpful and professional staff. This place has character, I love it. It’s what you would expect from a hostel, nothing more nothing less. Hostels are places to meet other travellers, and we did here, with lots of communal space. The “tent city” others mentioned was merely 3 tents down the block; it’s not like we were fighting our way to the door through an army of homeless people. I do recommend this place.

Great little gated hostel with an awesome atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and fun. We took advantage of both the free breakfast and the bbq party (with a full free bar?!) and had a great time. We had a private room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is a little shady, lots of homeless and tents but they keep to themselves and we felt safe behind the locked doors/gates. Just steps from lots of awesome food and shopping, super close to the main part of Hollywood blvd.
