"The places was not well equipped, with it being over 30 degrees- only a small fan was placed in room. The windows did not open fully. No water placed in room knowing it was going to be hot. The outside needs update and not what the photos show. Breakfast was nice but."

"Convenient location in the Cotswolds and able to take a group of five friends in two rooms. Character-filled old and quirky inn. It was a heat wave while we were there but the rooms were quite comfortable with cross breezes and electric fans. The restaurant was hot though, so we opted for the pub in Barrington beside the river instead. Everything was clean and the staff were lovely. It’s a bit noisy beside the road, but not too bad. We were able to trickle charge our car overnight as well."

"The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c. A few things lacking ... service can be slow at the bar, some friends tried to get flowers out in our room and hotel was very unhelpful. The rooms in the...

"We had a deluxe room on the second floor. It was extremely hot - due to the temperature outside being 33 degrees - we did have a fan but no air con. Nice shower and coffee machine and kettle. "It is a beautiful building in a lovely location. I’m not sure if the severe heat made a few things more difficult during our stay. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening, and although our food took quite a long time to arrive, what we did have was lovely and we really enjoyed it.
