"I felt like this place was a bargain, especially with breakfast included! We stayed in April just before their weddings started, and it was very quiet. We had a nice view of the water from our room, and the grounds are stunning! It was clean and perfect for an overnight. "First, reception was so welcoming. The room was newly remodeled and clean. The breakfast selection included hot and cold items and changed a little each morning. The area was well stocked and clean. I would have liked a flavored coffee creamer option, but they had avocado mash for toast! Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub."

Wifi doesn’t work very well, pretty low speed. Breakfast was delicious at hydrangea house (offered on the first day) and just ok in the manor. Overall staff is friendly and I would stay here again for a no frills stay. "

"Stay was wonderful, clean, well decorated and exactly as described. The one comment, it does get loud due to street noise. If there is a way to insulate the outside noise from people walking late at night or the cars going by. I used my sound machine app and was fine"

"If you're looking for new, bright, shiny, and cookie-cutter, this isn't the place for you. But if you prefer quaint, historic, unique, and romantic, you'll ebjoy your stay as we did. Our room was clean and comfortable, the included brrakfast was plentiful and filling, there was on-site parking, and the location was judt minutes from everything. We would definitely return."

"When we first checked in and the smell in the lobby was unbearable. It smelled like sewage. The entire first floor was being renovated. That created a lot of noise into the evening. Once we entered our room, the heat was not working properly. We complained to the front desk they said they did not have any other rooms and they sent a technician who did not do anything with the system. The bedside outlets were not working. Sunday morning housekeeping was vacuuming starting before 8 AM. Before 9 AM...
