"My wife and I stayed at Dreams Madeira for 5 nights and had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was incredibly spacious, modern and very comfortable. The room had plenty of space to relax and unwind, and it really made our stay feel even more luxurious and enjoyable. "Great place for the price! The location was amazing, and the breakfast buffet was so good! Our room had a slight musty odor to it, but really nothing too bad and might have just been because of the proximity to the ocean. Would recommend overall!"

I truly wish I remembered the names of the staff or had written them down. There was an older gentleman and a woman with braces in the restaurant that were so incredibly attentive and kind. "This place is terrible. Not enough staff, unhelpful staff (no offer to help with luggage etc.), check in process was slow, room was unclean and it’s run down. Just a weird vibe and I’d never stay here again. "

"Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, mit Dachterrasse, Pool, Bar und kleinem Fitnessraum. Sauberes Zimmer bei Ankunft. Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl haben, aber dennoch alles da was man braucht. Gut gelegen um ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Das Hotel selbst hat nur 6 Parkplätze, diese also rechtzeitig reservieren. Alternativ kann man gut im Santa Lucia Parkhaus parken für aktuell 5,50€ am Tag, die Empfehlung kam von Tania an der Rezeption."

"A very good hotel with an excellent breakfast and great amenities. The room we stayed in—located on the floor 0 felt a bit dated; upon entering, there was a noticeable stale odor. In the evenings, there is wonderful live music in the bar and a very pleasant atmosphere. It is an adults-only hotel, though I would say its 55+. I recommend it for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!"

"Loved staying at the Barcelo Funchal in Oldtown! It is a beautiful hotel with so many amenities that includes a rooftop pool and lounge area. The staff were extremely helpful and gracious. Also in the heart of town so makes everything easily walkable. Thank you!"
