The Hoxton pays attention to details and adds the extras that elevate a stay -- water bottle fill stations on every floor, coffee bar in the hotel, quick early breakfast delivered to the room for those rushing out. "The parking situation was terrible. At check-in, our room was not even ready. Once we finally got into the room, it was very dirty. There was hair in the bed, ashes from smoking, and crumbs all over the carpet. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed at all."

"The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the United Center and if you uber to downtown Chicago, it isnt horribly expensive. Although I did not except the room to be as little as it was and the bed to be as small as it was too. It also took 20 minutes for the water to warm up either in the sink or the shower. "I liked the private room that I got, it was very clean and overall quiet!"

"We had a nice, spacious room in a great location of Wicker Park. There were tons of restaurants and shops right outside our door. We had a 3rd floor unit in this walk-up "hotel." My only slightly negative comment is that the mattress was a little soft/sunken in the middle."
