"We stayed here last year when it was Southern Oaks and they had dog beds and dog bowls in some of the rooms. Now that it's Quality Inn, all of that is gone. They have a fenced dog park but the grass was so high I could hardly see my chihuahua. There was no poop bags where there was supposed to be and the garbage can at the dog park obviously hadn't been emptied in a while. We were staying for 2 nights and our room only had 2 towels. The pool was a decent size but it had a lot of trash floating...

The room had a strong unpleasant smell and felt generally unclean. The furniture was old and worn down, and the entire space felt musty and not well maintained. Oh, not a fan of the owner mad-mugging us constantly as we came and went. But I get it, he's trying to get some extra cash from all the beachgoers parking near the entrance."
