"Great location and really clean."

"Upon arriving at the airport at 10:44pm we were hoping to be greeted by our driver, who we booked 3 months prior to arrival, that was not the case. We had to wait an hour for him to arrive to pick us up. No apology just went on like nothing had happened. We arrive at entrance where they drop you off with your luggage and someone comes to meet you to bring you down the alley to your hotel. Check in was fine and smooth BUT once we got into the room is where we were both put off (not even the first two scenarios were as bad). There were moths and gnats as the window was left open and stains on the sheets. At this point it was late and we were both exhausted, but not tired enough to hop on the internet and book another hotel for the next night. We got minimal sleep and had a tour booked for early the next morning. After the tour we came back to the room, collected our luggage, and went down to check out a day early. They basically just took our keys, gave us a thumbs up, and told us to have a nice day (kick rocks) after telling them about the room situation. Once again no apologies, "how can we make this right?", nothing."

"We stayed 4 nights. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. Breakfast was fresh every day, especially the orange juice was delicious. The hammam was lovely and relaxing. Ibrahim took really good care of us, gave us advice on places to visit and eat around town. Lovely stay overall."

"The staff was the highlight of our stay - incredibly helpful, friendly, and engaging. Every recommendation was spot on, no request too small or too big, and they did it all with a smile. Absolutely great people. The property was fairly convenient to the center of the action, maybe a 15-20 min walk from the main Plaza. Breakfast was always good and more than we could eat. The rooms are older, with dated furnishings and fixtures but well kept and immaculately clean. For our first trip to Marrakech this place was perfect, and I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't require "luxury" accommodations anytime you leave the house. The adventure of staying at a Riad inside the Medina is an integral part of the Marrakech experience, and we enjoyed our stay at Yakimour. "

"My wife and I stayed at the Riad Palais des Princesses for a 3 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are seeking a modern, clinical type of hotel, this isn't for you - it is however for those wanting to step back in time, soak up the atmosphere and ambiance and to do so in beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived the staff were superb as we took our seats for our welcoming Moroccon mint tea and they catered for all our needs throughout our stay. The Riad is perfectly located as a starting point to explore the city, close to the main square and souks. Our suite was beautifully arranged with a unique and quirky entrance room leading to the main bedroom suite and bathroom. The roof top terrace also came to good use as a spot to sit out and relax and enjoy the setting sun. Very much enjoyed our stay."

"I travel all year for work and this is the worst hotel i have ever been too. Staff are rude and dont care! Rooms are dated and everything in room was broken including tv, balcony, door iron and safe. Told management but didnt really care Spoke to General Manager Muhammed and he was worse than his staff. Told me he would give me a discount when i go back to hotel as if i ever would. He was rude an arrogant. The changed our room 3 times in 3 days which took hours to do but he couldn't see a problem with that. Rudest General manager iv ever encountered. Pool area is nice with DJ playing but staff just dont care. Im in Marrakech every year and its amazing. Arab culture is so welcoming but this hotel is the opposite. Even every taxi we got in agreed that all they ever heard was problems with this hotel. No wander it has changed names 4 times in past 20 years. Btw is fully under construction but in there true sneaky way they dont tell you. Reception was full of people complaining and all you could hear around the pool area was people with issues with hotel. This was not unique to me. Reviews must be manufactured or fabricated. U must visit Marrakech it is amazing but if you stay at this hotel your trip will be ruined."

"A lovely Riad, in a great location with wonderful staff"

"The concierge team could not do enough for us. Everything was lovely. Our room had a private rooftop for lounging. The shower was a bit hit and miss but they all are in the medina. Everywhere smells of orange blossom. We stayed here all week so my only feedback to the hotel would be to vary the breakfast up a bit as it got a bit samey. I'd also appreciate a dinner menu board or a menu provided at breakfast maybe so we could see what was for dinner and decide if we wanted to book. The riad is in an excellent location close to Ben Youssef Medersa and near lots of great places to eat. "
