"I need a review for Hotel Football. It's easy to find, minutes from the tram stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was super clean with a modern feel. Vimto in the fridge was the best surprise ever. Really enjoyed our stay. I did leave some items in the wardrobe which I realised on the train home. "The hotel is a nice hotel.. Staffs are friendly and professional. There is lounge area with a work station if you want to work there. The rooms floor is well maintained, the carpet on the hallway look dirty. The car park has very limited space, better to arrive early for a space. "Oddly unwelcoming guest, mocked me for using Expedia upon entry to the property. Laughed about me essentially getting scammed for using Expedia and instructed me that I wouldn't be having breakfast instead of offering it to me. Tiny bathroom with a tiny shower. Instructed that you are forbidden from bringing food in to your room. Upstairs room had TV on full volume until 3am (it has been possible to restrict certain volume levels on TVs for over 20 years to prevent this issue). Poor parking at...

"The room was comfortable and well equipped. Very comfortable bed and on this hot night the air con was great. The lift was not working which might have been an issue but not for us. Katie and the other receptionist were very helpful and friendly. Good stay and value for money."
