"The Tempo has reasonable rates and is a great place to stay in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. It is also within walking distance to Downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel, though it costs about $30/night. It is secure and convenient, so I think it is worth it, though a better rate would be appreciated. In a hotel you will always have noise from the heat pumps and ventilation, and if you are on the back side you might also have some noise from the garage. On the front side you might have street noise. But overall it was not overly noisy. Just mentioning it so a visitor can be advised and maybe ask in advance for one or the other. "

"Perfect place to stay to be within walking distance to just about everything Louisville has to offer. Hotel is gorgeous and well kept."

"This hotel did not feel like a Marriott. It felt a little dated. The floor plan was a little awkward. I never did find an ice machine. Parking garage was bit secure. There were also issues with the elevator and only one was operating most of the weekend. All of that being said, I would STILL give this hotel 5 stars and will DEFINITELY return in the future. The staff was second to none and more than eager to help out or just say a friendly hello the entire trip. The rooms, the pool, the fitness center and the common areas were all very clean. The location was within walking distance of 4th Street Live and RIGHT at the start line of the Kentucky Derby Marathon. Thanks for making us feel welcome. We’ll see you again."
