overall the stay was great ! the rooms are a little outdated to me especially for how nice and inviting the lobby was ! the rooms were a bit of a let down however everything was clean and amenities were good . The staff were super friendly

Crowne Plaza Memphis Downtown Hotel by IHG
We didn’t actually stay at the Crown Plaza. The National Guard took over the hotel so we were moved to the LaQuinta Inn. It was very nice once they fixed a shower problem. They even shuttled us back and forth to the Crown Plaza for our breakfast we prepaid for.

Hu. Hotel
I liked nearly everything about the Hu Hotel. The only thing that let it down was the water in my room. It was scalding hot, even from the cold tap, which made it impossible to have a shower. A wash in the sink once the water had cooled in the basin was my only option. I reported this on day one ...
