"This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is welcoming, helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The whole building is a landmark with fun treats through the day- and a breakfast that is far superior to chain hotel breakfasts."

"So much cuter than what the photos show! It’s like a studio, no one above or below you, they’re like little casitas or in law unit type. You can park right in front of your room, plenty of space, walking distance to the beach. They do service a continental breakfast like bagels and pastries I believe, we went out for brunch so didn’t eat. It’s near 17 mile drive. My husband and I enjoyed our stay!"

"Breakfast was limited for alt-diets. I had the fruit and then we went elsewhere for a full breakfast. Parking was doable, had no issues finding a spot for a few hours and moving our car as needed. Lighting was sub-par...as with many places, it was all on and bright or bedside lights on and dim for the greater room. The jet tub didn’t jet but it was still very relaxing and accommodated larger bodies. The fireplace was nice. The fridge could have been a tad larger to accommodate restaurant...

"The property was charming. It was like stepping back in time. They ate dog friendly and it seems like everyone had a dog that was staying at the property. The little walking path behind the motel was nice!. The coffee in the office was great. I did have to wait until they opened every day at 8… Staff was friendly! We used the hot tub and it was nice. "The room was very nice and had a nice vibe to it. However, the check in time was 3 PM and the room was not cleaned until around 3:30... There was no AC and amenities like a refridgeratr. The sink was inside the room, seperate from the toilet and bathtub. "

"The hotel is clean, modern, and well-located, and the staff were great. However, for the price, it felt underwhelming. The renovation looks good visually, but many of the materials and finishes felt a bit cheap or superficial. Overall, it’s fine, but doesn’t quite justify the premium pricing."
