"Food poisoning the first night, rooms hotter than the sun, zero water pressure in the bathrooms. Constantly chasing staff for the most simple things. They ran out of ice. No fans for the rooms. No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. "I arrived with my 8 year old for a 2 night stay during a very hot heatwave. Upon checking in I proceeded to attempt to use the little elevator which got stuck between floors with me inside so I went back down and carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! The spa was closed, which was not made clear when booking through a third-party site, and this significantly impacted the stay. "Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay."
