"Hotel grounds and building grand… bed rooms tired need a refurb, carpets crawly… bathroom clean and had been refurbed. Room was not serviced. Staff at reception low energy. Staff at breakfast much better, buffet breakfast average …. Bacon left to cool in sauce pan with fat accumulating … consider ala carte it could have been so much better …. Overall 2 nights served its purpose but was expecting much more so disappointed "

"LOVED IT! If you want to experience English inns, stay here. Beautiful, peaceful, albeit very European with the room configuration and bathroom setups, but a very fair trade off for the environment. That is actually one of the reasons I chose it, reliving childhood experiences of quaint English inns. Beautiful, peaceful and affordable. Right near Bibury Trout Farm & the Cotswolds or, I suggest the small village of Carterton for a nice slice of pizza."
