Staff at breakfast much better, buffet breakfast average …. Bacon left to cool in sauce pan with fat accumulating … consider ala carte it could have been so much better …. Overall 2 nights served its purpose but was expecting much more so disappointed "

"LOVED IT! If you want to experience English inns, stay here. Beautiful, peaceful, albeit very European with the room configuration and bathroom setups, but a very fair trade off for the environment. That is actually one of the reasons I chose it, reliving childhood experiences of quaint English inns. Beautiful, peaceful and affordable. Right near Bibury Trout Farm & the Cotswolds or, I suggest the small village of Carterton for a nice slice of pizza."

"So set your mind on a charming characterful much loved home rather than a hotel type setting and you will be happy . The owners are lovely and Suzie is charming and very helpful . It’s a little quirky as it’s a home so toilet and shower in hallway shared and the room didn’t have a key to lock when away and also significantly it’s not a breakfast as in bed and breakfast . However it’s right in town and lots of places to eat and the town is charming . Little slice of old English charm !"
