"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. "Hotel isn’t in the most central of areas and no real restaurants too close but it is clean, breakfast was good and staff friendly "

"Perfect stay Accommodation was very clean and a good size room. We also bought our dog with us and a dog bed, towel and bowl with a treat for him was provided in our room which was a lovely touch to our stay. We had a lovely evening meal also one of the best we have had in a long time and lots of choice for a quality breakfast. We will be returning as from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and very professional and helped make our stay perfect."

"Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy."

"Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again,...
