"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"For being on a main road, This place is well kept, the rooms were very clean and smelled nice. I rented 2 rooms. They allowed us to check into 1 room 1 hr early. The other room wasnt ready until 30 min after check in time. Parked near our room was tight. The mattress needs to replaced. There was a Keurig in our room. The internet worked"

"We always travel as a family of 6 and it is extremely important for us to be able to book a room to accommodate all of us. The heated pool is a plus and we always use it."

"Room was very basic but had everything we needed, including a fan. There was no ac in our room, but with the window open and the fan on, it was quite comfortable. It was about a 10 min walk to Fishermans wharf where we were able to catch the free trolley into cannery and the aquarium. After a long day, the hot tub was very relaxing. Overall, would stay here again if I find myself back in Monterey."

"We love this hotel. It's within walking distance to Alvarado Street and other shops/restaurants, the rooms are always clean and a noon checkout time is such a bonus. The staff is always polite and helpful. We've never had a bad stay. The pool was cold this time and the lock is very janky, however My key wouldn't work and neither would the maintenance guy's, but he was great and got the gate open."
