"Great location close to old town and la promenade. Rooftop pool and restaurant are awesome. Service is friendly and efficient. The main issue is the AC is the room. We booked a family suite with king size bed and pull-out couch and AC was not able to keep the room even comfortable, so forget cool. We were all hot at night so this was not pleasant. They advertised AC, and the prices included such a service but it's essentially non-existent. The gym was also rather disappointing for a 4-star...

"Looks good in the photos but this hotel has just been bought by the Marriott group and a refurb will start in October a staff member told us and boy does it need one! Parts of the pool deck should be closed off as they are downright dangerous with missing floorboards in places. We had to have the maintenance team out as soon as we arrived as the bed was just a camp bed (metal squeaky frame and springs) that was faulty and they were lovely and got it mostly sorted. The decor is shoddy, damaged...
