"What was not expected was presented at check-in online with a choice of either non refundable £40 deposit or refundable £300 deposit!. Gambled on refundable deposit and did get it a week later. For only 1 night!"

"Trouble with our hot water and shower bathroom black mould at a very unhealthy level Housekeeping was lovely and helpful so was most of the staff one woman in reception was quite rude to me when I enquired nicely about the shower being hard to use We won't be back it was not cheap for us and the experience for us was very dissapointing. "The cabin was clean and had toilet rolls and shower gel etc it was the check in that was a nightmare we arrived on the dot at 3pm we were going to a surprise party at 4pm We didn’t get hold of the host until 5pm so we missed the start of the party we’ve had no apology for late check in at all"

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We were made to feel immediately welcome and our nervous dog felt right at home. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and friendly throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our meal in the evening and the cooked breakfast was fantastic! Parking was easy and the hotel is located centrally in the beautiful village. We would definitely come back!"

"It was very good and I would go back"

"Enjoyed a stay for three days. Staff very willing and helpful. Excellent food. Enjoyed the different areas especially the beer garden when it was warm. Was woken by the kitchen extract fan at 6am, which probably was due to the secondary double glazing not fitting correctly. Needs some maintenance."

"Soup downstairs was delicious as was their gf bread. Man who checked me in helped me bring my bag up those steep stairs! Room was cute. Loved the giant (fancy) bottle of water, oatmeal…(too bad I couldn’t try the muffins as they have gluten) but what nice unexpected complimentary snacks. Could be loud potentially, it is above a pub, not an issue the night I was there"

"Quite and clean, nice comfortable bed. Good well lit car motorcycle parking."

"Beautiful old pub right in the centre of Greenwich. Really comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need for a short stay. Perfect."

"The staff was incredibly helpful and the breakfast was great!"

"No tv in room which was a shame. Otherwise, great stay."
