Enjoyed this respite from the flurry of London. Though the room was a little dated, with a key lock, for example, it was clean, comfortable, fresh-smelling, and well-stocked with amenities. The older gentleman at reception was exceptionally accommodating and even arranged an early continental breakfast for us since we had to leave an hour before the dining room opened. That old-fashioned attentiveness is so unusual these days, and it made our stay a pleasure. I hope to return one day.

The room was clean and spacious but the structure is very old and needs to be refurbished. The staff was good and helpful. The buffet layout for breakfast needs to be updated and changed everyday. We stayed there for seven days and every day, the buffet layout was exactly the same which lead us to avoid breakfast due to repirition.

Our room was great, very spacious with an area to sit which is handy when one person gets up earlier Windows open but there were a lot of pigeons outside and no window screen so not comfortable opening them. There was a strong fan mounted on the wall that cooled the room enough for us but We were there in March so not an issue. something to keep in mind if you’re coming in summer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to do laundry after 530pm for a fee which seemed reasonable. Wifi is not great but not terrible. Bathroom very clean and efficient. Room was quiet unless someone was tromping down the hallway. Breakfast was very tasty and served in a large dining room. We had their afternoon tea one day - food was good but the tea was just bagged Twinings so it loses out on not having loose tea options. The dining room is a nice setting though. The village of Blackheath is very sweet and the location is really handy for accessing Greenwich park and Greenwich village. We stayed 4 nights in order to visit someone living in North Greenwich and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very satisfied with our choice.

The beauty of the hotel is it’s age and decor. Old in style, but very clean. We had a large Crown Double room overlooking the heath (we always do). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice and plentiful.

Always love coming back to The Clarendon. We stay here when enjoying concerts at the o2. Quick exit from o2 by bus rather than the huge queues of the underground. Bus stop right outside. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Location of the Clarendon is a 15 minute bus ride from the 02. Bus stop directly outside, with frequent arrival and departure 24 hours. Arriving at the hotel we was able to park in the hotel parking to the rear with pleanty of spaces. 1st impressions of the hotel did not dissapoint as we was greeted with a clean spacious lobby and very well presented, smiling receptionist. Room was very big, overlooking the front of the hotel and Blackheath Green on the 2nd floor. Though there is a busy road to the front this at no point caused any discomfort with traffic noise. The room again was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Though the bedroom was larger than expected the bathroom was lacking size wise as it was very small but adequate and again spotless. Our room was cleaned after 1 night which we didnt expect and was happy about. All staff are professional, courteous and well presented and plentifull without being over bearing. Having arrived late evening and a long drive we made use of the games bar which again was very pleasant and not overpriced. Breakfast was included in our booking and it again was plentiful, fresh and constantly replenished. We are early birds so tend to be at breakfast 1st thing though we did notice on both mornings that after an hour there tends to be a queue and very busy waiting for a free table even though the dining area is quite big. Train station direct to central London is a leisurely 10 minute walk through Blackheath Village.

We have just spent 2 nights at The Clarendon Hotel. It was lovely. The rooms are clean and decent. Breakfast is great-lots of choice. But it's the staff that made it for me. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we were even able to leave the car in the car park,after we checked out,so we could spend more time in the local area. A wonderful experience in all 😁.

No hot shower and shower head kept falling off. The receptionist was unhelpful and asked if I’d like to speak to the duty manager. I replied that I would and after waiting for some time was then told the duty manager was on a break. The receptionist then said that she’d get him to contact me. I am still waiting.
