"Chose the Hampton Inn Poway as an extra night on my birthday trip knowing that this isn't a fancy resort by any means but Hampton Inn always comes with great stays and calm environments. The stay started out ok with the gentleman at the front being very helpful and even offering an "upgrade". We got to the room to notice a musty smell from the AC being off. "An oasis in the mountains! The scenery of the outdoors was great but the room was clean and very spacious! The staff are amazing and friendly! There was a power outage on our last night so we were given a refund for the inconvenience. We will definitely be back!"

"Room was clean and spacious but smells like you stepped into a historical archive. The room balcony door was open upon arrival and A/C wasn't turned on anywhere on the property so it was super hot. The A/C unit worked well to cool the room down after several hours. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, which was a nice touch. "This was our first time staying at a hotel. Being in a new city let alone county, with two small children was nerve wrecking for my wife and I to say the least, but The Reserve really exceeded our expectations! It was clean, quiet and the staff were very helpful! The pool was a plus! Definitely a sigh of relief after an amazing day at Sesame Place. Parking was easy and close to the lobby. Also the complimentary breakfast was a life safer! Guaranteed a returning traveler and will be recommending...

"Managed to get an accessibility room after some discussion. Evidently you can only reserve them if you phone in and not by registering online. Also right outside the accessible room was the only ice machine for the whole facility and it is not secured at night. People were filling large coolers at all times during the night. Most did not actually stay at the lodge."
