It was a pleasant surprise to find engaging activities like yoga and cooking classes available, adding an extra layer to our stay. The photography services provided by Purnama were exceptional, capturing our family memories perfectly. "The Gayatri is a charmingly beautiful property located in central Ubud. The moment you step through the gates it is feels like you have entered a private retreat. We stayed in a pool side room which was like a separate villa with traditional Balinese architecture and wood carved doors. Amenities included a chaise lounge and large dining table on the lanai, two poster beds with mosquito netting and large sized bathroom with plenty of toiletries. Check in was quick and the word "welcome" was arranged with bright marigold flowers in the room which was a nice touch. The room rate also included a generous breakfast consisting of 2 beverages and 2 entree options per person that you can pick off the diverse menu to include dragon fruit bowls, pumpkin pancakes, tofu burger, etc. Loved that there were lots of common areas to soak in the atmosphere including the pool area, sitting pavilion and library. Hotel is right off main Monkey Forest Road, a 5-7 minute walk from Ubud Palace and Saraswati temple, so it is a very convenient location. Lots of shops, restaurants just around the corner from this gem. Only drawback was presence of some mosquitoes- which is not a problem created by hotel- but general environmental issue. Our room was near a water feature/ pond, so perhaps requesting a room in another part of property would help.I still give it 5 stars. This will be our go to place to stay when in Ubud. "

"We stayed in a suite at Ibah Ubud during our trip to Ubud from December 24–27, 2025, and truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The location is exceptional and, in our view, ideal for exploring both central and suburban Ubud. The resort is within comfortable walking distance of central Ubud, including major attractions, excellent restaurants, and the Ubud market. At the same time, it sits just outside the busiest core, which means you are spared the noise, congestion, and dust of the town center. Being at the edge of downtown also makes logistics much easier—our tour driver was able to pick us up without getting stuck in Ubud traffic. One afternoon, we even walked the Campuhan Ridge Walk, returned to the resort for a refreshing shower, and then headed back into town to enjoy the evening. It’s a perfect base if you want to explore nature (rice terraces, waterfalls, scenic hikes) during the day and stroll through town in the evening—a truly ideal rhythm for tourism in Ubud. Staying at the resort itself feels like living in paradise. The property is surrounded by lush trees, flowers, and beautifully landscaped paths, yet offers modern, clean, and comfortable shower and dining facilities. Importantly, the photos on the website and those shared by other travelers are not exaggerated—what you see is exactly what you experience. We booked a suite, which is tucked behind a secluded garden, reached via a forest path adorned with statues. The suite features a lovely patio with a couch"
