"The Mayaloka Villas in Ubud was a paradise. The room was spacious and comfortable with a glass back wall open to the private pool. The bathroom was spacious and clean. I did not like the way the shower was open to the rest of the bathroom as water was able to be splashed everywhere. The lighting could have been better. The pool was inviting and we used it twice. "The villa and surrounding property was absolutely beautiful- peaceful and relaxing- the staff were incredibly attentive to our needs including carrying all our luggage from the main road entrance to our villa. Nestled amongst rice fields with a view of the valley in a magnificently manicured garden and tranquil pool has left wonderful lasting memories. "

"This was a beautiful small hotel completely surrounded by rainforest. Plants everywhere, well maintained and always someone sweeping any fallen leaves etc. It's a few years old, which is its appeal! There is no restaurant or bar, but you can order breakfast the day before and they deliver it to your own balcony at a time you choose. They were all so helpful, lending us brollies, organiz"
