"Nice family run property close to the main Ubud shopping and restaurant area but in a quiet off street location, staff and owner were very helpful and communicated well, we had a very clean single room with en suite in a pleasant courtyard setting."
"The staff were so polite and helpful wanting your stay to be the best. The hotel is set back from the busy-ness of Ubud but close enough to still get around. Only challenge is the traffic but think that’ll apply to any hotel in Ubud. There are lots of nice restaurants right near the hotel also. Luxurious hotel, beautiful scenery. Lots of veggie options, lovely daily yoga."
"Stay: Rooms were big and the upstairs rooms have cool views from the balcony! The bathrooms were old and didn't feel clean to me. Which I assumed is ok for the price but there are other places that do better. The sheets also had some stains, but were def washed. The staff was very attentive and caring though. So nothing on them!
Location: If you want to be in the heart of tourist area but be away from the main road, this is a very convenient place/solid choice. It was quiet in the room (except...
"Kailas Ubud was so relaxing and secluded. Their private villas were beautiful and inviting you didn’t want to leave. However, It’s located at the end of a very narrow road that makes it very difficult for cars to pass through and makes grab drivers hesitant to come get you."

"Quite and trenquile spot. Absolutely stunning resort with lush forest surroundings. People and staff are all first class. Always with a smile and willing to help under all circumstamce."
"Very attentive and kind staff, delicious food, excellent facilities, great perks (inc., afternoon tea and transfers), and convenient and central location."
"Gayatri is the perfect hotel for exploring Bali, right in the heart of Ubud city center, walkable to shops, restaurants, tourists sites, yoga studios and everything Ubud has to offer, yet set back from the main road so it’s super peaceful and serene with lush nature views all around. I really appreciated the authentic Balinese architecture and decor, the beautiful pool area with nice seating and dining area beside the pool, stunning open air yoga shala and comfortable clean rooms. The food was so delicious and healthy and I loved that it was all vegan, with so many different options for breakfast and dinner, also the presentation of the food was outstanding. The staff were all very sweet, courteous and helpful. There was a bit of confusion about the yoga classes and whether or not they were open to hotel guests, and I later discovered they were sadly only for people signing up for a full week or longer. I also felt the bed linens and towels were quite scented even though they didn’t use perfume at my request. Overall I had a great stay and would stay again!"
