"Stayed in a luxury double room which was large and comfortable. Timed slots for the spa meant it is quiet & relaxing. Evening meals in the restaurant were superb, especially the raspberry soufflé. Staff friendly & knowledgable. Would definitely stay again."

"A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. "We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations."

"Not the easiest place to find on ‘maps’ but good directions provided by host (in future I will make direct contact with the host!!)"

"Lovely rooms geat value for money. Food was lovely. Bar staff could have been better, didnt have any prosecco in fridge and didbt seem to want to use initiative to solve the issue with ice bucket and ice also told us we could finish our drinks outside at end of night - weird. "
