"The host was superb and very accommodating to our needs. We needed to stay another night and he graciously made room for us. He helped us locate restaurants, bus stops and Exeter sites. And he was a pleasant conversationalist. He always made us feel welcome."

"Very lovely stay in Exeter for 2 nights at the start of our Devon/Cornwall trip. Friendly staff! Great spa with a deal for hotel guests. The breakfast was wonderful, too. "The property was ideally suited for the Railway station and bus services plus a handy Wetherspoons just down the road the room I was in was road facing but not a problem it was nice and compact and a very comfortable bed, the full English breakfast I had was delicious plus facilities the hosts were lovely can’t fault anything I would definitely stay here again. 👍"

"You get what you pay for but no complaints at all. The staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Our room was basic and clean but had what we needed. Breakfast is self service . Good choice and great views across the valley. It’s a good 10 minutes walk from the train station, all up hill so a taxi may be needed if you mobility is not too good. "
