The warmest welcome from Suzanne when you arrive, delicious English breakfast and morning chats with Susie and great after game late night conversations with Colin. The pub being filled with locals after a win is EXHILARATING. Getting to watch the players come and go before and after the match. The entire experience is full of vibrations...

"Our room water was too hot, but thankfully owner respond quick and allowed us to move to another room. Their shampoo etc is tiny so bring your own. Kitchen is shared but at the time of our visit there were only my husby and i so its a plus. "

"The hotel its self is very grand and impressive. Parking is limited but there’s another car park literally over the road. Check-in was easy although a little noisy. It’s hard not to be impressed with such an amazing historical building. The room was absolutely massive. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great choice of fresh pastry’s and the hot selection was of really good quality. Would definitely like to rerun again. "

"We were visiting Anfield for a football match and there was an early kick off so the staff were so helpful sorting out an early check in for us. Would stay again if in the area. Free parking is a great bonus"

"A very funky guest house. My room was upgraded at no extra charge. Very nice room. If your a Liverpool they awesome Liverpool FC basement, with two pool tables and loads memorabilia there. Only 2 and half miles from city centre with buses very close by. I'd highly recommend this guest house."

"We had Room 202, so that is the base of our experience. Staff was helpful. Beds was all right, clean comfy, but with only one pillow per bed; the other pillow was a decoration, I was undecided if there is fresh cover on it or not, so it's definitelly a no go for sleep. There is no fridge in the room, no elevator in the house but a narrow staircase. No chance for breakfast, however this hotel adverts itself as a FOUR STAR hotel for some reason. One of the provided milks was off. The shower cabin...
