"Staff. Most were super nice. One got a bit snotty at us when we complained our room wasn’t cleaned by 1:30 after a very hot days outing that morning. They made up for it the next day though."

"The hotel was a great option for exploring Paris, away from the crowds but great for exploring. Beds were very comfortable. The room was small (but sufficient for 2 people). The rooms have everything you need to enjoy your time in Paris. There was also a lift so no need to tackle stairs. Defintely would recommend."

"Hotel really catered to its guests. A/C in the rooms, lots of outlets which was very helpful, and the hotel bar allowed for water, soda, and alcohol to be easily accessible. The staff was so nice and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage and even bringing it right to the room for us before we got back from our adventures. The location was nice, more away from the touristy spots but near a beautiful overlook park and walking distance to train stations. Excited to go back!"

"My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Maison Proust last week and it was a great experience. The entire hotel including the rooms and the common areas were extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple though delicious and the coffee was great. The bar offers a good selection of drinks and the lobby area including the round library are designed with great taste. We got to have the spa reserved for the two of us for an hour. What we liked most was utmost coordination among the staff...

"We had a great 2 night stay. The hotel had decent AC which really helped us get through the Paris heatwave. The Deluxe room is unusually spacious for Paris and was a big draw for us. The room was very clean, although the carpet looked a little worn. The bed wasn’t too soft. The room faced an inner courtyard and was very quiet. The location is very close to Canal Saint Martin which was buzzing and lively because of the heatwave. In that direction there is also a lot of good food - we tried...

"I suddenly had an extra 2 days to spend in Paris after a conference and chose to stay here for the location in the Marais. For my purposes room 2 was ideal - quiet and thoroughly air-conditioned! The old style of hairdryer needs to be upgraded though. All staff I spoke to were very kind. The breakfast was ok but a bit basic - more variety there would be good (e.g. range of cold meats/cheeses and seeds/nuts to vary the muesli).."

"Heel klein boutique hotel op uitstekende locatie. Kamers zijn klein maar knus. Airconditioning kon de hitte (35 graden Celsius) niet echt aan. Misschien zou het helpen als ze de voordeur dicht zouden houden. Regendouche was defect, handdouche deed het wel. Stop in wastafel was defect. Onacceptabel voor dit tarief. Ontbijt was a la carte en gewoon prima."
