Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff and comfortable beds.
The downside: no coffee in your room. If you like coffee first thing, you have no choice but to partake in the perfectly lovely breakfast. The breakfast is a buffet where you help yourself, but the coffee machine is not available for guests to use - unlike every other hotel we have ever encountered.
We asked for a second coffee and were told we would have to wait. Sadly we ran out of time and had to leave, under caffeinated.
As we checked out, the lovely staff were apologetic, explaining that a room service order had to be fulfilled with coffee, causing us to wait.
If only the person ordering room service had had an espresso machine or a cafatiere with ground coffee in their room…. It’s not too much to ask in a hotel at this price point.
