"We had a lovely stay at the Palacete Severo. Our room was comfortable. The property is unusual and charming. We loved spending time in the library and felt welcome to make ourselves at home. Breakfast was excellent. And the staff incredibly kind and accommodating."

"The staff is attentive and courteous. The breakfast staff especially, Ines and Catia. Their patience, pleasant demeanor, and friendliness made our stay memorable. The rooms are cleaned every day and patrons are given a bottle of wine, water, and chocolates. Housekeeping staff checked in daily to provide additional amenities. "

"Breakfast had a great selection. Dinner was slow and had to be by reservation. No availability until 9 for our first evening so we had to go to the supermarket for a sandwich."

"Breakfast area needs some help. Overly crowded and I cannot say the service was good either since they did not get any of my family member's order right. The roof top restaurant was esp slow. One time, our order took more than an hr and by the time we got food, it was already too cold to eat. Overall, the room did not match the picture, service wasn’t good and breakfast was disappointing. However, the view from the hotel lobby was incredible. "

"Ich war 4 Tage alleine im Hotel. Alle waren super nett und freundlich. Auch abends bei meiner Ankunft war alles vorbereitet und es gab einen sehr herzlichen Empfang. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Fußgängerzone, daher ist die U-Bahn nur ein paar Minuten entfernt, ebenso der Hafen. Ich komme gerne wieder. "

"Great room, Service and view"

"We did not get breakfast. We manly travelling into the centre of town, would recommend to come back to a quieter place to stay and rest after a day of sight seeing. Not a huge amount nearby but we didn’t need many things. The staff were great, the room was very clean and the bathroom is very modern as is the rest of the hotel. Great shower too. We forgot to bring toothpaste and the hotel kindly provided some. "

"The hotel is difficult to reach from a main road and one must walk up a very steep incline to reach the hotel which is poorly marked. No reception with difficulty in obtaining the entry codes. Then we were place at the very top room which had a very tight winding stairs without a handrail and was extremely difficult to lug a suitcase up. Next, my wife fell in the middle of the room because there is no safety markings for a step down in the center of the room. Overall, this accommodation was way...
