"In addition to be an excellent inn, it’s a place steeped in local history."

"Location close to train station. Friendly staff. Parking plenty, but the lots are spread around different areas surrounding the hotel. Will choose same hotel next time."

"Canal rides are 2 minutes walking distance! So convenient!"

"Our stay at the NIPPONIA HOTEL Yamefukushima Merchant Town was truly exceptional. The room was outstanding – stylish, spotlessly clean, and designed with great attention to detail. The location in Yame’s historic district is also ideal for exploring the area and enjoying the atmosphere of the traditional merchant town. What impressed us the most, however, was the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. Whether it was making reservations, answering questions, or...

"Great stay!"

"A good place to stay."

"Amazing, regardless of price one of the best places I've stayed in Japan. 15 mins walk from Saga station in a quiet residential area and only 10 mins walk to multiple restaurants, Saga castle, balloon museum, library etc Hotel is the wrong word for this place,it is a stand alone home, perfect for a couple but extra space and futons for kids or another couple in comfort. The quality and fit out of the space is amazing, huge living area, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, incredibly it is...

"This was more of a stopover during our trip so we didn't really explore the area - It was just for the night and we totally enjoyed our rest here."

"New hotel but very crowded. The breakfast is great. Sauna is a bit small. Overall 9/10 good price option if you want to go to kumamoto tmr"

"Convenient location outside Saga station and very helpful staff during check in. Breakfast buffet has good selection and is well maintained during service."

"It a really good hotel. I will stay again next time."

"Good location and clean. The room is just a bit too small."

"Great location near Saga Station, has bikes for rent, laundry, easy access, dining area, friendly staff"

"The draw for us was to stay in the old house, and it was worth it. The room is very spacious. But the best thing was the staff, they were extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great, made to accommodate a gluten and dairy allergy, both days the breakfast was delicious! The steps up to the bedroom are very steep, be careful if you are older or have young kids."

"The check-in info better sent one day earlier. It is easy to ignore while traveling. Also better to have English translation available."

"It was comfortable."

"Best location set between the riverfront and the famous local park! The staff are all very well mannered and patient."

"The staff was nice and the room was clean."
