"This is an excellent hotel in the middle of origional cairo. Buildings in this area are quite old and sometimes nasty. This is not the case here. The building was remodelled nicely, and the facilities are quite good. One has to manage expectations here because this is a historic area of the city and the buildings typically lack what you might expect in newely built hotels. "Room was small with lots of furniture but the condition was good with a refrigerator. The bathroom was in good condition, too. Breakfast from 7-10 with good variety. Great location and walkable neighborhood. I booked a private 3-day customized tour with their travel agency and overall had a good experience. "

"We stayed there six nights altogether and the breakfast was the same every day apart from occasionally we had different fruit. If not using the lift we found the staircase very dirty. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The rooms were amazing but the bathrooms need some updating and to be a little cleaner. I would recommend this hotel. It is great value for money. "

"Isis Hotel 2 is a very good option for those who want a simple but secure and centrally located hotel. All rooms are on the top floors of a high rise building so views are spectacular of the Nile and Cairo. Maybe I got lucky but the view alone was worth the price! The room was old and could use renovation but it was clean and quiet from the inside. I prefer having natural air so I had my window opened which let in a lot of the busy traffic below. The room does have A/C and TV but I didn't use...
