"The kitchen had everything you would ever need to cook a meal, pantry space for goods and a full size fridge. There was complimentary coffee pods and some snacks which was nice. The parking was ample on the street during my stay. The rest of the house was beautiful but during this trip I was not really there to enjoy any of the lounge areas. "Breakfast was pay as go despite expedia saying it was included. Parking was a surprise fee, additional, and quite high. Staff at check in and check out were rude, "busy" despite no other guests being present, didn’t even offer token courtesies. Beds were horribly uncomfortable, pillowcases were scratchy and starchy feeling, lights were confusing or didn’t work. "I had added an extra day onto my trip with Expedia, received an email receipt confirming the extra night, etc. For some reason, the hotel was not notified and expected me to check out a day early. Me showing them the updated reservation dates, as well as calls between Expedia and the hotel didn't resolve anything. The front desk said there were NO rooms available, so I had to check out immediately (no apologies for the inconveniences, etc.). As I'm checking out downstairs, my friend checks...

"Room was nice and clean. Buffet was average. Walls are thin in rooms. Nice bathrooms. Overall, very pleasant stay."

"This property is in terrible condition! Our first room was so dirty and we had to get a staff to bring scotch tape to hold the dresser drawers to stay shut. Lamp was broken! Staff was foreign and didn’t understand English very well at all! We ended up having staff move us to a different room that was a little better! Overall don’t stay there "

"We went for our son Notre dame graduation and everything was wonderfull ,so close to ND, clean,variety of restaurant around it,culver's(delicious hamburgers) in the property,they put a GRAD background for photos and a table with snacks for grab them,lot of choices for breakfast,safe neighborhood"

"Friendly staff. Room was clean Free Continental breakfast to start day was good. Convenient to the Notre Dame campus. Lights behind bed didn't work. Could use a bit of a refreshing. When fixes are done, a customer can tell that they were done quickly and most likely by a staff who may not know what a customer probably notices."
